Following the Kentucky House of Representatives passing House Bill 4, Greater Louisville Inc. president and CEO, Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, issued the following statement:

“GLI applauds the Kentucky House of Representatives  for passing one of our top legislative priorities to reform Kentucky’s outdated unemployment insurance benefits system. HB 4 will make necessary improvements to modernize Kentucky’s unemployment insurance benefits to make them more sustainable for employers and encourage rapid reemployment. We applaud the House for advancing this legislation and Representative Webber for his leadership on addressing these long overdue reforms. We encourage legislators to prioritize swift final passage of this bill to help our region’s talent and businesses thrive.”
