Greater Louisville Inc. Releases 2025 Local Agenda
Louisville, Ky. (February 3, 2025) – Greater Louisville Inc. has released its fifth annual Local Legislative Agenda, which outlines priorities identified by the local business community.
Top priorities in GLI’s 2025 Local Legislative Agenda include updating the Land Development Code to promote business attraction, expansion, and retention, downtown development and revitalization of vacant office space, and increasing public safety measures such as surveillance equipment throughout downtown Louisville.
“As the regional economic development organization, local policy is critical to everything we do. Maintaining our relationships at City Hall is of upmost importance when advocating for the business community’s top priorities,” said Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, president and CEO of Greater Louisville Inc. “This year’s Local Agenda will provide guidance as we advocate for policies that make Greater Louisville a great place for businesses and talent.”
The Local Legislative Agenda is the result of a member-driven process, with regional business leaders volunteering their time and expertise to serve on GLI’s six issue advisory committees and Public Policy Council. The final product outlines the priorities of the Greater Louisville business community.
GLI also publishes an annual state and federal agenda in the winter and summer respectively. These agendas guide GLI’s team of policy experts as they advocate for legislation to create a more competitive regional business environment.
