Three organizations, represented by six individuals, will be recognized for their work in 2023:
- CenterWell Senior Primary Care will be recognized for the successful opening of several senior-focused primary care centers in Louisville and their impact on underserved communities.
- Derby City Gaming will be recognized for the grand opening of their downtown location, which will drive positive economic growth and downtown tourism.
- Valhalla Golf Partners, LLC, owned by Junior Bridgeman, Jimmy Kirchdorfer, Chester Musselman, and David Novak, will be recognized for purchasing Valhalla Golf Club and preserving the club’s Louisville legacy.

GLI’s Annual Meeting, presented by Baird, is the region’s largest gathering of business leaders, celebrating the accomplishments of the past year, highlighting our region’s community leaders, and bringing together innovators. Last month, GLI announced Seth Waugh, CEO of the PGA of America, and Bill Carstanjen, CEO of Churchill Downs Incorporated, as the keynote speakers for the 2024 Annual Meeting to discuss the economic impact of the upcoming 150th Kentucky Derby on the first Saturday in May, followed by the PGA Championship in mid-May. |
