Louisville, Ky (August 26, 2022) – Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI) hosted ten site selectors and consultants at its annual Familiarization (FAM) Tour presented by LG&E and KU. The three-day event included interactive tours of Jefferson County and Southern Indiana, presentations from top employers including UPS Healthcare and Ford, pitches from county partners on their local assets, and stops at regional restaurants and tourist destinations.
“This event is critical to proactively marketing our region’s assets, amenities, and opportunities to the individuals who are helping growing companies decide where to locate and expand. Over the last three days, we put our best foot forward and showcased our region as a great place to live, work, and do business,” said Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, president and CEO of GLI. “I am confident that each participant left with an elevated view of our 15-county region which will lead to new investment and innovation in the years ahead.”
