Following the filing of Senate Bill 115, GLI president and CEO, Sarah Davasher-Wisdom, issued the following statement.

“GLI has been a longtime advocate of an autonomous Civilian Review Board and believes complete transparency and accountability in law enforcement is only possible by granting the board full investigatory powers. GLI applauds Senator McGarvey for his leadership on this legislation and encourages swift passage in both chambers to help increase transparency and public confidence in Louisville’s law enforcement.”
