GLI’s Supplier Diversity Program

Empowering Growth Through Diversity

With the business landscape more competitive than ever, prioritizing supplier diversity can be an effective strategy in giving your business an advantage and boost to your bottom line. Diverse suppliers bring fresh perspectives and ideas, and investing in a diverse-owned business helps to build an inclusive local economy.

GLI's supplier diversity programGLI is committed to supplier diversity in our own organization and is working to make it more accessible to businesses across our region through a new program. GLI’s Supplier Diversity Program connects medium to large businesses with a network of minority-owned, woman-owned, LGBTQ+-owned, veteran-owned, and other underrepresented enterprises through a data-centered and customizable process.

Our Approach:

  • We tailor our strategy to meet your business’s unique goals.
  • We work with your procurement staff to identify North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes that align with your corporate needs.
  • We deploy a national search to fit your business’s specific supplier needs. While we prefer to source from the local community, our team also works to relocate and expand national suppliers to the region through the process. GLI is affiliated with prominent national directories and organizations, including WBENC, NGLCC, NMSDC, and, is expanding our reach and resource base regularly.
  • We use a transparent vetting process to ensure that all suppliers meet our high standards and are well-positioned to contribute to your business’s goals.
  • We follow up and ensure longevity and growth of the partnership.
