Describe what your organization does in two sentences.  

Accelecom provides high speed fiber-based broadband access to customers using the highest quality, most state-of-the-art equipment on the market.  We help bridge the digital divide by connecting Kentucky.

Who do you serve?

Our network connects local government offices, educational institutions, hospitals, agricultural offices and private businesses in the Commonwealth. We also partner with local ISPs to bring high speed internet to residential areas.

One fact you may not know about my organization is… 

Although we are a new company, we are led by industry veterans with decades of experience with some of the largest and most recognized telecommunications companies in the county.

What sets your business apart from others in the way you attract and retain talent? 

As a startup company the opportunities for growth and advancement are exponential!  It’s exciting to be a part of something new with a strong mission.  We offer our employees the chance to make a difference and leave a lasting impact on our Commonwealth.

What do you like about being an investor in Greater Louisville Inc.?

Working with local, Kentucky-based companies is important to us.  GLI provides Accelecom with the opportunity to establish working relationships with companies that have similar values.

How does your organization engage in the community? 

Accelecom belongs to several Chambers and industry organizations across the state.  The access to the community afforded through these membership help us to educate about connectivity and ultimately chip away at the digital divide.
