Louisville Water will install up to eight miles of water main along Interstate 64 from near the Jefferson/Shelby County line to near highway 55 in Shelby County. Louisville Water already has a large water main and an elevated storage tank near the county line.
Riverport Phase 5, the 164-acre expansion of Jefferson Riverport International, is primed and ready to be the home for vibrant, successful light manufacturing and distribution companies, along with hundreds of employees.

This new route will be a three-lane roadway with one travel lane in each direction and a center turn lane. The new connector route and interchange will reduce the travel distance between I-65 and Cedar Grove to 0.7 miles from 1.75 miles.
