Louisville, Ky. (March 29, 2022) – Today, Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI) announced the region’s top business leaders will travel to Jacksonville, Florida for their 37^th annual Greater Louisville Idea Development Expedition (GLIDE), presented by Norton Healthcare. Participants will study Jacksonville’s innovative economic development strategies, thriving downtown, and best practices for talent retention and growth.

GLIDE is an annual, exclusive program for GLI investors, including community representatives, elected officials, entrepreneurs, education delegates and business leaders, which will give them an opportunity to see how a selected city has overcome obstacles and achieved success.

“Jacksonville’s rate of growth and innovation is continuing to set the bar for cities across the US. The 2022 trip to Jacksonville will be held from September 21-23, 2022. Registration is open to top GLI investors only until May 31 and will open to all GLI investors on June 1.

“GLIDE gives investors a chance to look in-depth at the factors that lead to exponential economic growth and a platform to turn those ideas into action steps in our own community,” said Condrad Daniels, president of HJI Supply Chain Solutions and chair of GLIDE 2022. “I am excited to head to Jacksonville with a group of our region’s brightest to generate creative solutions to our most pressing challenges.”

Last year, GLI hosted GLIDE Indianapolis, which allowed participants to understand a chamber-led economic development structure. Previous destinations include San Francisco, Nashville, Austin, Portland, and Charlotte.
