GLI professional honored with Lifetime Sales Achievement award

LOUISVILLE, Ky.Greater Louisville Inc.’s, Rebecca Wood, Vice President of Investor Growth and Retention, received national industry recognition for her Lifetime Sales Achievement of new memberships sold, by promoting the benefits of GLI from 2016 to 2018. The award was presented to Wood during the 2018 Association of Chambers of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Annual Convention in Des Moines, Iowa, on July 18.

“I am excited and proud to be recognized on behalf of GLI,” said Wood. “This award is a tribute to our entire team. It’s a testament to the opportunities GLI can provide investors. I focus on our investors individually and how they can each benefit by being a part of GLI. Finding new ways to build value with our investors is extremely important as GLI moves forward.”

Wood has been a part of GLI’s investor team for two years. She continues to make tremendous strides on the way GLI works with its investor base.

“We are very proud of Rebecca’s accomplishments from 2016 to 2018,” said Kent Oyler, GLI’s president & CEO. “As the largest convener of the business community locally, it is inspiring to see continued engagement and investment from businesses of all sizes.”

GLI was also recognized during the ACCE annual meeting as one of the top three large chambers in the nation.
