GLI Kicks off 2025 HEN Fellows and AML Fellows Programs

Louisville, Ky. (March 6, 2025) – Last week, Greater Louisville Inc. launched its 2025 sessions of the Health Enterprises Network’s (HEN) Healthcare Fellows program and Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics (AML) Fellows program. 26 professionals in the region’s fastest-growing industries will participate in rigorous programming over the next 10 months to help grow their skills.

The 2025 HEN Fellows include:

  • Gabriela Morris, Supervisor, UPS Healthcare
  • Mike Purcell, Area Manager, UPS Healthcare
  • Derek Russell , Cold Chain Packaging Manager, UPS Healthcare
  • Vanessa Shannon, Mental Performance Consultant, Optimize Consulting
  • Sara Tracy, Sr. Workforce Development Project Manager, Kentucky Chamber
  • Kenya Wade, CEO/Founder, Cycle Breakers Breaking Chains Inc
  • Alyssa Waltson, Distribution Manager, UPS Healthcare
  • Myra Wiley, RN, Owner/Lead Instructor, Norton Healthcare/Hands2Hearts Academy
  • Eric Wilson, Lead Supervisor, UPS Healthcare

This is the 21st cohort of Healthcare Fellows, which has more than 370 alumni in the Greater Louisville region. The 2025 Healthcare Fellows come from a wide range of backgrounds and demographics and represent many industries within the healthcare ecosystem including clinical services/outpatient, education, hospitals, advanced manufacturing and logistics, and professional services.

The 2025 AML fellows include:

  • Joe Gobis, Industrial Automation Sales Engineer, CRG Automation
  • Brooks Mayer, Director of Business Development, ARCO Design/Build
  • Greg Padesky, Business Development Manager, U.S., Quant U.S. Corporation
  • Michele Pelton, Aircraft Maintenance Materials Director, UPS Airlines
  • Adam Wiseman, Senior Director, Strategy, Inventory & Deployment, GE, a Haier Company
  • Doug Grogg, Neff Automation, Technical Sales Representative
  • Isaiah Rumsey, Messer Construction, Business Development Manager

AML Fellows was created in 2023 and modeled after the widely successful Healthcare Fellows program. The program consists of 10 monthly sessions that are tailored for rising advanced manufacturing and logistics leaders and will focus on a variety of topics including automation and innovation.
