For Immediate Release: June 21, 2017
(Louisville, KY) – Greater Louisville Inc. received two Membership Achievement Awards from the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) for 2016. GLI was named in the top 10 for both Member Retention and New Member Retention in the $5 Million and above category.
“We are very proud of our Development Team’s accomplishments in 2016,” GLI President & CEO Kent Oyler said. “As the largest convener of the business community locally, it is inspiring to see continued engagement and investment from businesses of all sizes.”
The awards are based on information voluntarily entered in the ACCE’s Dynamic Chamber Benchmarking, in the Fiscal Year 2016 Operations Survey.
“We are taking this positive momentum from 2016 and channeling it into executing our GLI 2020 plan,” Brian Jones, VP of Investor Development, said. “The message from our investors is clear that they want to continue to be a part of advancing our regional economy and we are going to build on that commitment.”
