EnterpriseCorp Welcomes Endeavor International Selection Panel to Louisville
(Louisville, KY) – This morning GLI’s EnterpriseCorp, along with the Kentucky Innovation Network and 1804, officially welcomed the 79th Endeavor International Selection Panel (ISP) to Louisville, Kentucky with a breakfast forum at The Omni.
“This group of seasoned entrepreneurs chose Louisville to bring some of the hottest startups in the world and pitch for a spot in one of the most prestigious accelerators out there. We want to welcome the judges and the companies. It is our time show off how our city is embracing innovation and entrepreneurship,” Lisa Bajorinas, Vice President of Entrepreneurship & Talent, said.
Endeavor’s 79th International Selection Panel (ISP) in Louisville continues through May 9th with events throughout the city. The ISP – two and half days of interviews, deliberations, and networking between entrepreneur candidates and global business leaders – will culminate in the selection of the next class of Endeavor Entrepreneurs after a 12-18 month rigorous search and selection process.
Today’s kickoff also launched Kentucky’s Startup Week in which multiple events celebrating entrepreneurs will be held both inside and outside Louisville. Locally, the week will culminate with a visit from AOL co-founder Steve Case’s Rise of the Rest Tour on Friday, May 11th.
“All these events are part of the ‘Year of the Entrepreneur,’” GLI President & CEO Kent Oyler said. “Throughout 2018 we will be highlighting all the pieces of our very robust entrepreneurial ecosystem and drawing attention to the importance of new company creation and growth.”
