EnterpriseCorp will welcome one of the foremost angel investors and product developers to keynote the annual Evening of Entrepreneurship.

Frederique Dame is an angel investor with 15 years’ experience building consumer products for both public companies and startups in Silicon Valley. Frederique currently serves on the Board of Directors of Ubisoft (UBI.PA), a leading videogame developer and publisher.

Throughout her career at different US-based digital companies, Frederique has developed a unique expertise for launching consumer products and services. Between 2012 and 2016, as executive product lead, she helped scale Uber from 80 people to over 7,000 and expand the company from 14 cities in four countries to over 400 in 68 countries. Frederique joined Photobucket in 2009, then Smugmug, two online photo-sharing products for which she built social gaming mechanics to engage their audience and ecommerce platforms to drive revenues.

“Frederique Dame has expertise in taking companies from gazelles to multi-national powerhouses,” Lisa Bajorinas, Vice President of Entrepreneurship and Talent, said. “As we work to help our fast-growth client companies acquire customers and scale, she is a natural fit to help bridge the gap in our startup community.”

EnterpriseCorp’s Evening of Entrepreneurship, presented by Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, will take place on Wednesday, October 4th from 5:00pm – 7:30pm at the Kentucky Derby Museum.  Each year, the event celebrates Louisville’s progress in building a sustainable, innovative community for entrepreneurs.

In addition to Dame’s keynote address, there will be a comprehensive update on the State of Entrepreneurship in the Greater Louisville region, along with the annual EnterpriseCorp Award, which recognizes the significant contributions of a local individual to Greater Louisville’s startup community.
