Where Opportunity Knox Encourages Employers and Veterans to Attend Fort Knox Career Fair
Where Opportunity Knox, a regional initiative to connect transitioning Veterans and/or military spouses to jobs and careers, invites regional employers to join them at the 2017 Fort Knox Education and Career Fair on Wednesday, October 11 from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Presented by the Soldier for Life –Transition Assistance Program (SFL-TAP) and the Army Continuing Education System, 50+ employers and 30+ educational institutions from across the Mid-West will gather at Fort Knox’s Saber & Quill to meet with an expected 400 Active, Guard and Reserve military personnel. This is a great opportunity for employers to find the best candidates to hire and for Veterans to find their dream jobs.
Registration for employers is $139 which includes a table for two recruiters, two lunch tickets and internet access. Don’t miss this opportunity to participate!
Also, mark your calendar for the Fort Knox ‘Employment Prep Day’ on September 19 which aims to help transitioning individuals prepare for their civilian job search and includes mock interviews, resume review, advice on how to dress for an interview, etc. This is another great opportunity to showcase your organization’s career opportunities and show support for our Veterans.
