New Faces at GLI

Your Metro Chamber is staffing up for a record breaking 2018. To move Greater Louisville forward, we’ve hired some stellar people to fill new positions.

Brian Schneider is our new Director of Investor Development. Brian brings a wealth of business to business sales experience and customer service.  Most recently, Brian served as the Area Manager for Regus in Louisville, managing the entire Louisville territory and three centers.  Previously, he had held General Manager and Senior CSR roles for Regus, as well as Senior CSR roles at Fifth Third Bank.  Brian received a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration from the University of Louisville and was previously a Volunteer Fire Fighter for the McMahan Fire Department.


Shari Baughman is our new Manager of Investor Development. Shari possesses an extensive network of connections and business development experience, as well as a background in advertising and marketing.  Most recently, she served as the Key Accounts Manager, Business Development for Red Pin Media in Louisville.  Prior to that, she was a Convention Manager for Red Pin Media and a Marketing Strategy Manager for SHPS, Inc. Shari holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Development from Indiana University, and she has an amazingly positive attitude that will make you like her instantly.


And last but not least, Megan Mayer is our new Digital Marketing Manager for Team Talent.  Megan brings with her a wealth of social and digital media marketing, strategy, analytics and account management experience.  Megan was most recently social media and community manager for Generation Tux growing their social media presence, follower base, and conversation rates from the ground up.  She has also been a social media and account coordinator, marketing specialist and marketing project coordinator for various companies in Louisville and five years spent in Columbus, Ohio. Megan holds a Bachelors of Arts in Integrated Strategic Communications from the University of Kentucky.
