On August 23rd, Louisville Metro Council President David James officially recognized GLI for the accomplishment of being named an ACCE Chamber of the Year finalist. President James invited GLI’s leadership team to the council meeting and read an official proclamation recognizing not only the Chamber of the Year honor, but also GLI’s successful efforts over the years in growing the regional economy.

“GLI initiated Greater Louisville 2020: A Transformational Initiative for Regional Economic Growth, intended to recruit, grow and retain businesses, talent and jobs in the Louisville area to create a strong business environment,” the proclamation read.
