The Greater Louisville Foundation received a $25,000 grant from The UPS Foundation, which drives global corporate citizenship and philanthropic programs for UPS.

The grant will be used towards the “Embrace Greater Louisville” initiative which provides resources that integrate international populations, while connecting individuals to opportunity.

Specifically, the grant will support the development of a relocation guide for the international population to support individuals in their search for a home, schools, churches and networks of friends.  The guide will be produced both in the print and digital formats, and translated into the five most commonly spoken languages in Louisville, which are English, Spanish, Serbo-Croation, Arabic and French.

The digital version will bring this vital resource online and reach even more of the targeted population relocating to Greater Louisville from around the world.  The mobile-optimized version of the Greater Louisville International Professional’s (GLIP) website will feature the detailed content, and cross-referenced links that more fully activate the printed resource.
