Podchaser — $500,000 Seed Round
- Becoming the go-to podcast database and podcast discovery tool. Their library of more than 18 million podcast episodes and powerful search engine makes podcast discovery easy as it sorts and filters by category, user tags, ratings, and more
- Funded by: Cornick Capital Ventures, Ed Glasscock, Dave Heath, Kentucky Enterprise Fund, Gill Holland and Rounsavall Investments
Neuronetrix dba Cognision – $2,000,000
- Uses science and data to diagnose Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, concussion and cognitive disorders. Their med device, COGNISION, has received FDA clearance
- Funded by: Current investors
SentryHealth (formerly Edumedics) – $9,500,000
- A chronic disease management company offering services for health care professionals, employers, consulting services and onsite health to reduce cost and improve health outcomes
- Worked with Venture First to secure through a syndicated deal including Lunsford Capital, OCA Ventures, Doug Cobb, Dale Skaggs and Mike Stigler
