GLI Releases 2019 Legislative Outcomes Report
Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI) releases its Legislative Outcomes report, now available on GreaterLouisville.com. The document summarizes the policy positions of the region’s largest convener of business leadership and gives an overview of major wins and missed opportunities from the most recent legislative session.
The report shows how GLI leads on business advocacy efforts and succeeded in working with the Kentucky and Indiana General Assemblies to pass pro-business legislation that moves the regional economy forward and builds on the economic momentum of the past few years. New this year is the 2019 Most Valuable Policymakers, legislators from the Greater Louisville region who voted 90 percent or more in favor of GLI’s legislative priorities.
“GLI recognizes the state lawmakers from our region who went above and beyond to support our top legislative priorities that show their commitment to growing the regional economy through key bill sponsorships, and direct engagement on issues that matter to business leaders,” said Kent Oyler, President and CEO of GLI. “Thank you to our 2019 Most Valuable Policymakers.”
