How long have you been a GLI Ambassador? I have been a GLI Ambassador for almost a year.. I have been a GLIP Ambassador Representative of the Bahamas for over 9 yrs.
What is your favorite part about being a GLI Ambassador? My favorite part about being a part of GLI is meeting and learning about new businesses coming to our city and connecting with current businesses. Also networking with people in our community.
What value does your company derive from investing in GLI? As a Business Services Manager I am able to connect to the businesses who may have recruitment needs that we connect to our pipeline and shares other resources that we offer.
What’s the best investment you’ve ever made? Investing in my own business which is Caribbean Boutique, LLC that I am working on creating an online business.
Outside the office, what do you like to do for fun? I love spending time with my family and our new puppy. I love going to my son’s football games, Go Bulldogs at Male and anything to do with sports to watch. I love collecting my twin daughters’ artwork who are very talented. I enjoy participating in festivals such as the World Fest as a vendor. I love traveling and tasting international foods.
Cats or Cards? I am a graduate at the University of Louisville, Go Cards! I support the Wild Cats too when they are not playing my Cards.
If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would you choose? These words I would like to say one day, “You got a car and you got a car!” Oprah Winfrey who is one person on my bucket list who I would like to meet. She inspires me because she did not give up on her dreams. She did not change her name even when her employer wanted her to and she stayed true to herself. She opened a school in Africa for girls who may not get the opportunity to obtain an education. She believes in helping those that need help. She is a true woman who has battled weight loss and is open about who she is. She did not allow the pain that she experienced as a young child to define her. She is a spirited entrepreneur and has smart investments. She is a Black Woman who ROCKS!
