Senate Bill 7 restores Kentucky’s Arbitration Agreement Law
GLI has joined with business and civic groups from throughout the Commonwealth to voice support for restoring Kentucky’s arbitration law. As a result of a sweeping state supreme court decision in October 2018, Kentucky became the only state in the country to prohibit employers’ use of mandatory arbitration agreements as a condition of employment, dealing a serious blow to Kentucky’s business competitiveness. Fortunately, Senate President Robert Stivers filed Senate Bill 7, which would immediately address the October court ruling and bring Kentucky back into alignment with the rest of the country. GLI strongly supports passage of Senate Bill 7 in the 2019 regular session. CLICK HERE TO VOICE YOUR SUPPORT FOR SB7!
