Field is set for 2019 statewide elections
The filing deadline for candidates to run in the 2019 primary elections for statewide offices in Kentucky closed yesterday. Six key offices are up for election this year, including Governor/Lt. Gov., Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Auditor, Agriculture Commissioner, and Treasurer as well as a handful of judicial seats. The primary election will take place on May 21. The general election is on November 5.
