Certain Kentucky COVID restrictions set to be eased
COVID restrictions imposed in Kentucky last month are set to be eased on Monday, December 14. Governor Andy Beshear announced the restrictions in November amid rising COVID case numbers throughout the Commonwealth and the rest of the country. Today, Governor Beshear announced several of these restrictions would be lifted starting next week.
Key changes include:
- Bars and restaurants will be able to resume indoor dining at 50 percent capacity
- Gyms, theaters, and venues will be able to operate at 50 percent capacity
- Employers are requested to utilize remote work options for half of their employees when possible.
Masking requirements and social distancing guidelines remain in effect. The Governor recommended social gatherings continue to be limited to two households.
