Greater Louisville Inc. - The Metro Chamber of Commerce facilitates the participation of businesses and MBA programs. Their facilitation includes identifying companies who qualify for the program and helping them prepare a profile that summarizes their growth challenges. Each profile is then submitted to university professors who match the needs of the business to the learning objectives and course curriculum of their MBA students.
As Manager of the Urban Impact Partnership, Syvoskia manages the partnership between regional MBA programs and businesses in West Louisville and other urban areas. She meets with leadership from educational institutions to discuss the benefits of the program and increase participation. Syvoskia also coordinates the application process for businesses interested in being matched with and assisted by an MBA student consultant team free of charge. Through each unique business/student team relationship and through program-wide events, Syvoskia facilitates and supports the partnership's vision of strengthening urban businesses, creating business leaders and impacting the regional economy.
Syvoskia began her career in economic development in 1988 under the administration of the City of Louisville where she gained extensive knowledge in various positions, which led her to Greater Louisville Inc in 1998.
