Applications for the 2017 Inc.credible Awards are now open!

GLI's Inc.credible Awards recognize and celebrate the small businesses that are making a BIG impact on the Greater Louisville region. Over 95 outstanding companies have been celebrated throughout this program's 17 year history. 

To participate, eligible companies must complete the Inc.credible Awards application by June 16. Applications will then be scored by a panel of volunteer judges comprised of regional business leaders and GLI board members. This year's winners will be announced at the Inc.credible Awards Reception on August 24th. 

The 2017 Inc.credible Awards will recognize outstanding companies in the following categories:

Very Small Business of the Year Award (1-9 employees) presented by Mortenson Family Dental
The winning company must exemplify both business and civic leadership. Community involvement, management practices and overall financial performance are the primary criteria for this category. 

Small Business of the Year Award (10-100 employees)
The winning company must exemplify both business and civic leadership. Community involvement, management practices, and overall financial performance are the primary criteria for this category.

Manufacturing & Logistics Award
This award recognizes a business that best demonstrates the use of effective lean methodologies and techniques that focus on improvements in: quality, productivity, environmental impact, customer service, and safety.

Healthcare & Wellness Award
This award recognizes a business that is contributing to the fields of health and wellness. Whether by introducing innovative solutions to the healthcare field or by providing excellent service for individual health and wellness.

Innovation Award presented by Middleton Reutlinger
This award recognizes a business that provides innovative product or services. Innovative solutions can include technologies, programing, processes, systems, etc.

Non-Profit Impact Award
This award is presented to the small business that is seen as a leader in the Greater Louisville community. This business has made significant contributions to advancing arts and culture in Greater Louisville and sees community investment as a core part of the companies’ values.


Inc.credible Award Eligibility: Eligible companies do not have to be a GLI member, but must have opened their business prior to January 1, 2014. They must have 100 employees or less, be locally owned and operated, and have not won an Inc.credible Award in the past 3 years. Non Profits are only eligible in the Non Profit Impact category. There are no fees associated with the application.

Judging: Profiles are scored by a volunteer group of 50 business and non-profit professionals in the Greater Louisville region.
