The War for Talent

"Many high impact businesses are caught in a 'war for talent.' High impact employers are finding it challenging to keep the talent they've got, and also find the qualified employees they need for their quickly growing business. While many are using a blend of labor — employees, contract employees, consultants, and outsourcing— few are optimizing these opportunities." - High Impact Report #4*

The final Exchange of the 2008 series, PeoplePowerPlanning™: A Workshop on Alternative Recruiting, will feature the authors of High Impact Report #4 - Cathy Fyock of Resources Global Professionals and Parminder Jassal of The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.  Exchange attendees will be able to pick the brains of these workforce experts as they explore "a new strategy of handling the labor needs of high growth businesses.  This strategy calls for blended use of traditional employment and independent workers, and provides an agile workforce with the ability to respond to changing business needs."

Developed in direct response to recurring high impact concerns over talent and workforce, both the Report and the Exchange are crucial for any organization in need of increased or improved human capital.

*High Impact Report #4
PeoplePowerPlanning™: An Emerging Recruitment Model is a whitepaper on the authors' innovative workforce model. The report is tailored to High Impact companies and being released in advance of the authors' book on the same subject. Each Exchange participant will receive a copy of the report at this event.
