G.L.I.P. Friends & Family International Picnic

Summer is the perfect time for potlucks -- and who doesn't love eating outdoors on a nice cool summer day? Fresh air, Barbeque, German Potato Salad, Tabbouleh, Chile Rellenos, Baingan Bharta, Quiche, Baklava and more…yum!

Greater Louisville International Professionals (G.L.I.P.) along with theG.L.I.P. Family Resource Group will be hosting an International Picnic for families and friends.

Entertainment and music for the entire family, you’re invited to join us Saturday, June 30at theLyndon Elks Lodge for a potluck picnic. The location includes a park, softball field, covered pavilion (for this rain or shine event) and a picnic area. Special activities are also planned for kids and adults.

For the kiddos, program partners Asia Institute, Crane House and Los Monitos Language Center will be providing Kite Making, Origami, Coloring Activities, Global Language Games and more!

For the adults and children, 4 Kicks for Kids will be organizing an exhibition game of soccer, don’t forget to come dressed to play
(no cleats).

We hope you can join us to mix and mingle with G.L.I.P. friends and family! In order to make this a true “Potluck Picnic” we request you bring a traditional dish from your country of origin to share. G.L.I.P. will be providing the necessary*picnic elements including tea, water, lemonade and paper products.

*Please Note: bringing alcohol is strictly prohibited, however there will be a cash bar for beer and wine.
