ISCO Industries 		Ambassador Message: Cześć! My name is Joanna and I was born in Kraków, Poland. I came to the United States, specifically to the Chicago, when I was seven years old. I have since lived mostly in or near Chicago. However, I also spent some time studying abroad in Denmark. Poland is a country rich with history and fierce loyalty to the Polish language (mainly because Poland as a country disappeared from the map for more than 100 years). Coming from Kraków, the cultural capitol of Poland (Warsaw is the official capitol, but as you may guess, there is a friendly rivalry between the two cities), I love to discuss the history and architecture that is prevalent throughout Poland. I moved to Louisville about a year ago and though the Polish community is not as large here as it is in Chicago, I look forward to sharing the Polish culture with all who are interested and help anyone settle into life here in Louisville. Please let me know if you want to know more about Poland, how a Pole can get around Louisville or if you have any other questions.
