Ambassador Message: Hola Chapines!!: Bienvenidos a la Villa de Luis! mejor conocida como Louisville. I have been in this city for 8 years and in the area for 13 years. Let me tell you that when I came to this area there was nothing like GLIP! which I think is one of the best initiatives we have these days to encourage people like you to come and live, work and grow in Louisville!!. One of the things I like about Louisville is its diversity considering that we are not one of the biggest cities in the US. However here you will find people from everywhere, including Latinos from Cuba, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, Dominican REpublic, El Salvador, HOnduras, Peru, Puerto Rico, etc, etc., Anyways if you are new in Louisville let me tell you, it is a very affordable city, very secure, and is a place when you can grow professionaly, culturally and economically. If you want to know more about Louisville get connected to GLIP or the Spanish language newspaper Al Dia en America. In the area a group of Guatemalans brought our popular tradition of Alfombras de Semana Santa and every year in at least one of the local Catholic churches of the area we make one. How is that ha! Bienvenidos!
