Mission
Greater Louisville International Professionals’ mission is to attract and retain international talent by showcasing Louisville as a welcoming and inclusive city of possibilities. G.L.I.P is committed to providing a platform of distinct initiatives, such as social media networks, mentorship programs, and hosted events, to engage and connect the accomplished individuals of the international and local community.

Strategies 

  • Recruit an inclusive network of international professionals based in Metro Louisville.
  • Provide resources through a dynamic website that functions as a directory of G.L.I.P.sand as a platform to post and discuss relevant content.
  • Facilitate connections among G.L.I.P.s via hosted events and signature programs.
  • Foster online interaction via our website and social media.
  • Assist executive recruiters and human resources professionals in their efforts to attract, retain, and engage international talent.
  • Increase public awareness of the importance of international talent for economic and community development.

What we offer

    Talent Sourcing– our network of talented international professionals is a trusted communityresource for educational, language, skill and work experiences.Businesses andcommunity organizations work through G.L.I.P. to identify key leaders, speakersand talent with an international background.   

        Relocation assistance– our services assist recruiters, relocation agencies,businesses anduniversities as they relocate international talent in to our community. First,G.l.I.p. helps sell our city as an inclusive and welcoming location; then,G.l.I.p. helps ensure new international families are connected to the rightpeople, organizations and businesses in Greater Louisville.

       International Community and Business Connections–  ourprograms focus on connecting a wide range of international professionals withthe local business community for the purpose of business, educational andsocial interactions, and personal and professional development. programsinclude events (after hours networking, social, dinners, and leadershipevents, mentorships, a social media website, public relations, promotion ofdiversity through corporate engagement, and special resource groups.

      Portalto International Community Events – G.L.I.P.’s website, social media andnewsletter are widely used as a portal to international events and activitiestaking place in the community.  Our calendar of events is inclusiveof all international organizations in the region and updated daily.
