Louisville Reunion - Chicago 2007

Greater Louisville Inc. along with Mayor Jerry Abramson and special guests returned to Chicago, IL on Thursday, June 7, 2007 to host a second Louisville Reunion event.

Guests at the Reunion enjoyed complimentary hors d'oeuvres and libations and were eligible to receive incredible prizes, such as tickets to the 2008 Kentucky Derby and autographed  Muhammad Ali boxing gloves.

Opening the evening ceremonies with a traditional favorite, Joe Reagan, President and CEO, Greater Louisville Inc. lead the crowd back to where the sun shines bright with the singing of My Old Kentucky Home. Attendees were also treated to a viewing of the My Louisville Video - Louisvillians of all ages sharing their opinions on why they call Louisville home. Guest couldn’t’ get enough as they toasted a city that is exploding with growth and development.

Attendees gathered relocation information and learned about job opportunities from Louisville's own community job portal, GreaterLouisvilleWorks.com. At the close of the event, a number of expatriates had already made the decision to pack their bags and head South.
