2006 Louisville Reunion

Greater Louisville Inc. and Louisville Metro Mayor Jerry Abramson headed south to Atlanta, Georgia on June 22, 2006 to host a one-of-a kind event. Well over 300 former and potential Louisvillians now residing in the Atlanta area headed to the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead for the 2006 Louisville Reunion.

From the Maker's Mark and Woodford Reserve bourbon sampling bars to the Louisville-themed door prizes, those in attendance couldn't get enough of American's 16th largest city.

At the reunion, guests were treated complimentary hors d'oeuvres and libations as well as a rousing rendition of My Old Kentucky Home lead by GLI President and CEO, Joe Reagan. In addition to toasting the good time with old friends, attendees gathered relocation information and learned about job opportunities on GreaterLouisvilleWorks.com, Louisville's community job portal. At the close of the evening, a number of expatriates we ready to hit I-65 North and head on home!
