Minneapolis/St. Paul Selected as 2008 GLIDE Destination
On September 7-9, the 2008 Greater Louisville Inc. Development Expedition (GLIDE) team visited Minneapolis/St. Paul to explore and discover all the great community initiatives in progress.
GLIDE is an annual invitation-only executive program with local business, civic and elected leaders participating. This annual program studies a competitor city’s best practices and brings ideas back to Greater Louisville for implementation.

Because there was so much success to study, we planned a new format for this year's trip. The new format, with seven "mini-summits" and four main themes LIVE, LEARN, COLLABORATE, THRIVE allowed attendees the opportunity to dive deeper into the subject matter of their choice.
Both progressive and cosmopolitan - the Twin Cities provided us with a wealth of information we were able to bring back to Greater Louisville!
