Kentuckiana College Access Center
The Kentuckiana College Access Center (KCAC) has provided free educational, financial aid, and career counseling services to adults and youth in Greater Louisville since 1977. The Center is sponsored by KentuckianaWorks, a business-led workforce investment board that oversees workforce development initiatives in the Greater Louisville region. Primary funding for the Center comes from the U.S. Department of Education, TRIO Programs.
Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority
The Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA) is a public corporation and governmental agency and instrumentality of the Commonwealth established in 1966 to improve students' access to higher education. To that end, KHEAA administers several financial aid programs and disseminates information about higher education opportunities.
Kentuckiana Metroversity
Kentuckiana Metroversity, Inc., is a consortium of seven institutions of higher education in the Louisville metropolitan area. Students attending any one of these schools have the opportunity to expand their educational horizons as a result of the cooperation among the consortium members.
Metropolitan College
Despite its name, Metropolitan College is not a college. It was established as a Louisville, Kentucky based partnership among Jefferson Community and Technical College, the University of Louisville and charter business partner UPS. This nationally recognized partnership provides eligible Kentucky residents access to a tuition-free post-secondary education and outstanding employment opportunities.
