RecoverCare Appoints Mary Zappone Chief Executive Officer, Current CEO Mark Bidner transitions to Chairman Emeritus.
Louisville, KY — RecoverCare LLC, the leading distributor of wound care, bariatric and safe patient handling equipment to healthcare facilities nationwide, today announced changes to its executive management team that has Company President Mary Zappone assuming the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) while current CEO Mark Bidner transitions to Chairman Emeritus.
Bidner, who personally recruited Zappone to the Company earlier this year, made the decision to step down in order to spend more time with his wife and newborn son and to dedicate additional effort toward his family's philanthropic and charitable endeavors. With his strong endorsement, Zappone's appointment received the full support of RecoverCare's Board of Directors.
Mr. Bidner, who will remain as a senior advisor and substantial investor in RecoverCare, said, "I am extremely pleased that Mary will succeed me as CEO.
