Its founders, Kathy Fisher and Larry Fisher will continue to serve and participate within the newly acquired ECT Services, Inc. business.

Respected for his industry know-how, Schlich has served on the boards of the Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky and Louisville Board of Independent Agents during his 26-year tenure with Van Zandt, Emrich & Cary.

    89.3 WFPL News has won 11 first place Associated Press Awards for excellence in journalism including Best Radio Reporter, Best Hard News Feature and Best Special Series/Documentary. In addition, WFPL News has been awarded 9 second place awards and 6 honorable mentions. The awards were distributed by the Indiana Associated Press Broadcasters and the Kentucky Associated Press Broadcasters for news coverage in 2012.

    MAC Construction and Excavating Inc., (“MAC”) was presented with the Business of the Year Award for more than 25 employees by One Southern Indiana Chamber of Commerce at its 25th Anniversary ceremony held on March 12, 2013. A crowd of over 500 were in attendance. This category had the largest number of applicants and it was an honor to just be named one of the three finalists, which included MAC, Park Community Federal Credit Union and United Mail, LLC.
