Greater Louisville Inc.’s GROW! (Greater-Louisville Region Optimizing Workforce) initiative. GROW! is a three-year plan developed to retain and attract talented people to the Greater Louisville region.  The launch of the LiveInLou brand marks the official kickoff of GROW!.

“LiveInLou is a fun and playful brand specifically targeted towards the younger professional demographic,” Stacey Servo, Talent Attraction and Development Manager for GLI said. “The website is designed to be visual and dynamic plus filled with informative content in a young playful voice.”

The LiveInLou website contains neighborhood information, restaurant and amenity information, a cost of living calculator, job openings, relocation resources, demographics, climate information and much more.

“We have a real need for more skilled people to relocate to our region to fill the jobs that are open,” GLI President & CEO Kent Oyler said. “Now that all the resources are in one place, it is our job to truly sell living in Greater Louisville. That’s what is going to take our region to the next level.”

The other talent attraction strategies unveiled were focused on brand & message development, market research, target marketing, road shows, university outreach, a community ambassador program, online tools, and an onboarding program for people who relocate to Greater Louisville.

GROW!’s central purpose is to materially increase the rate of net migration of talented people (ages 24-54) to the region and fill the employee pipeline with skilled and educated professionals resulting in a faster job-fill rate, a strong candidate pool, a higher median wage, and an increase in the overall skilled population, thereby allowing Greater Louisville to become a true ‘community of talent’. The programming and execution of GROW! will be conducted by GLI, with the funding support of the Greater Louisville Foundation.
