Yet over the last half century, the statutes that once protected the Commonwealth’s labor force have devolved to protect just the small number of union leaders that perpetuate a broken system.  It is time for Right to Work legislation in Kentucky.

Mayor Fischer says no local jobs will be lost in GE sale to China-based Haier

General Electric has agreed to sell its appliances business to China-based Haier Co., Ltd. for $5.4 billion, the companies announced early Friday morning. As part of the deal, Louisville will remain the headquarters of GE Appliances.
