A
message from Victor de Oliveira, a member of GLI’s International Professionals
program and G.L.I.P.’s Brazil
ambassador:
The
G.L.I.P. After Hours Networking events have been providing a much-needed (and way
overdue) venue for international professionals to interact more frequently.
The
events’ atmosphere reflects the very open-minded and friendly, driven
spirit of our local international community - so attendees are always eager to
connect and share significant experiences as international professionals based
in Louisville.
In addition, every event takes places at a different location, all of which are
important landmarks in Louisville’s
business scene. Speakers are carefully selected to represent some of the area’s
most prominent businesses, keeping the community up to date on all recent
projects and developments. The networking opportunities have been nothing short
of outstanding, thus each time reminding members and friends of the endless
possibilities that open up every day in the Derby City
for its international professionals.
This
past event took place at Old National Bank in the Preston Pointe
Building and the food was
sponsored by the Tequila Factory. There were over 150 international
professionals among which were new foreign-born Louisvillians and visitors from
other countries. The next event will be on September 2. For more
information about GLIP and how to be involved, visit www.Louisvilleinternationals.com.
